Long Exposure Test

Here’s a first landscape photo with a long exposure:

1/2 of a second at f22. Used the polarizing filter to get the slowest possible shutter speed.

Here’s some extra slow shutter fun:

Making the second-hand disappear

Creating ghost images

A few notes:

  1. Used the polarizing filter again to slow things down.
  2. Mantlepiece – 1 minute (ish) exposures, moving things after about 20″.
  3. Shutter delay to reduce vibration
  4. Timer mode using the remote control.
  5. Tricky to time in timer mode – most of the pictures are overexposed.
